Exploration Station
We started “Exploration Stations” on Friday. This week we learned about Native Americans, where they lived & some of the different types of homes they built. The children made their own hogan using a bowl and paper towels.









Our new vocabulary “BIG Words” are: plead, amble, grateful, challenge, deserve, & deceive. We introduce new words every other week and try to use and listen for the old ones throughout our day.









Raza will be our student of the week next week.






Reading
Next week we will be reading two stories from the anthology about pigs and other farm animals. A Big Hit is about two pigs who play a game. Pigs in a Rig is about some pigs who win prizes. Let’s Go to the Fair is a social studies article where we learn about things people see and do at a county fair.
