Exploration Station
Next Friday we will begin a new Exploration Station. The students will be learning about the flag, monuments, and famous Americans, such as George Washington, Martin Luther King Jr., and Abraham Lincoln. This unit also discusses voting – how it works and why it's important to vote.

Claire will be our student of the week next week.

There will be no power hour (switching of classes) for the next two weeks due to benchmarking (reading assessments). We will still be reading the stories from our reading anthology and will be going over the skills that go along with each story. We will be having our spelling test on Friday, but there will not be any challenge words for those two weeks. Thanks.
